BEATLES VEE JAY RECORDS ULTRA RARE VJ EP 1-903 SOUVENIR OF THEIR VISIT TO AMERICA PROMOTIONAL COPY 45 WITH CORRECT SLEEVE.
SOUVENIR OF THEIR VISIT TO AMERICA
RECORD LABEL: VEE-JAY EP 1-903
RELEASED: MARCH 23, 1964
BLUE & WHITE LABEL READS : "PROMOTIONAL COPY".
THIS PROMO COPY IS ACCOMPANIED BY IT'S ORIGINAL
1964 VEE-JAY "RIGHT BRACKETS" GENERIC RED & BLACK SLEEVE
(VJ RS.02, SPIZER).
THESE PROMOTIONAL COPIES WERE ISSUED PRIMARILY TO RADIO STATIONS FOR AIRPLAY,
AND MOST SURVIVING COPIES OF THESE SPECIAL ISSUED DISCS HAVE BEEN TREATED TO A
WEALTH OF PLAY. THIS EXAMPLE IS A STELLAR NEAR MINT/MINT RARE COPY,
SIMPLY GLORIOUS THAT HAS OBVIOUSLY RARELY BEEN ON A TURNTABLE.
THE VINYL IS SENSATIONAL.
THIS MORE SCARCE LABEL VARIATION IS THE VERY FIRST ISSUE OF THE PROMO EP
WHERE ALL FOUR SONGS ARE IN THE SAME SIZE PRINT.
(VJEP903.DJ1, SPIZER).
ALSO THE FIRST VERSION HAD NUMERIC NUMBERS FOR SIDE 1/SIDE 2 WHILE THE SECOND, MORE COMMON VERSION WAS ISSUED WITH ROMAN NUMERALS AS SIDE I/SIDE II. THIS DISC WAS MANUFACTURED BY MONARCH RECORDS, AND WERE DISTRIBUTED
WITHOUT THE SPECIAL CARDBOARD JACKETS. ONE SIDE HAS A NAME WRITTEN ON IT. IT SEEMS REMOVABLE BUT I KEPT IT AS IS. WITHOUT THAT BLEMISH, THIS RECORD IS VALUED AT OVER $1000. GET IT FOR MUCH LESS.
SHIPPING IS LIGHTNING-FAST AND FREE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD !!
