This is a high quality audiophile 180 gram repress on Geffen Records of one of Hole's best records with the songs. Recorded in October 1993 and released a week after Curt Cobain's death, the album marked a divergence from the band's unpolished hardcore aesthetics to more refined melodies and song structure, and features production by Sean Slade and Paul Kolderie and mixed by Scott Litt (R.E.M. producer) and Dinosaur Jr.'s own J. Mascis.
