File under East Coast death metal

With -like vocals and ferocious, -style riffs, these tattooed dudes from Connecticut have successfully crossed over from the hardcore scene to the metal scene, touring both with Ozzfest and . Lyrically, they are definitely an East Coast hardcore band, with song titles like "Empty Promises" and "Betrayed By Life." Aside from being straight-edged, betrayal is the singular theme, for whatever reason, in East Coast hardcore and among all the zillions of bands that have copied that style. But 's music is more influenced by death metal, or at least the bands that are more accomplished within that genre, because these guys can play their instruments. The drums, bass, and guitars all sound like a well-oiled machine churning out a massive sound. The vocals also have a more menacing, metal-like quailty. The result is one furious album, heavier than anything has done in a decade.

But, of course, you know all that. Don't you?

PACKING AND SHIPPING

See my feedback when it comes to shipping and packaging! All of my records come in NEW vinyl mailer boxers (well, sometimes I recycle the really good, expensive mailers)  Many records come wrapped in bubble wrap with cardboard sleeves on the outside and again wrapped with extra shrink—that's to keep the loses tight so the seams don't split When applicable, I reinforce the record mailer with extra cardboard “planks” around the corner edges of each side.  Each box is clearly labeled “FRAGILE” and includes a professional sticker stating so.  I have a few other undisclosed secrets I use to get the package to you safe and sound. In 15 years, I have had only two records damaged after leaving my store. FINALLY, your purchase is going to a great cause! To help me launch my own independent record label; NIN9VOLT Records that will soon release its first record of a really cool, well known indie artist that is going to have everyone saying, “Hell yeah, it’s about time that was pressed on vinyl!” (It was only released on CD a few years ago, and I am excited. [understatement]) I will never give my money to Planned Parenthood.

So, thanks for looking and if you read all of this, God bless you.
