During their European tour to promote third album 'Requiem' in 2016, Goat - the enigmatic Swedish psychedelic troupe - decided to record all their shows. On returning home, they then sifted through the material to curate the selection of tracks on 'Fuzzed In Europe'. The six recordings, spanning material from all of their catalogue, were evidently picked because of their difference to their respective studio versions. This is more than audible, and every track here is a highlight; 'Talk To God' pushes the hypnotics of the original to new heights, 'Time For Fun' takes a percussively afro-centric and infectious groove approach, and 'Gathering Of Ancient Tribes' is performed slightly less frantically with a greater focus on eastern trance. The band's musicianship and professionalism makes 'Fuzzed In Europe' come across not so much as a live album but a series of polished studio sessions that should have every listener rushing to book tickets for their next show.
