Welcome to Heart of Wax - Vinyl online record shop. I shall endeavour to post up as many exciting records up here that I find. Usually all from private collections which I've sourced. I'm happy to post out records to all you lovely people of the United Kingdom. Generally each record is secondhand and has been played. All have been cleaned and listened to by myself. And if there are any faults or defects, I will provide them in an honest description below.

DELTA 5 - SEE THE WHIRL
UK press from 1981.
Five piece (3 girls/2 boys) from Leeds with an elastic sounding two bass, post-punk, pop sound. The thing is with these two bass guitars driving most of the songs gives that funky British edginess. Both top and bottom parts of the tunes are held together so perfectly. Think Wilko Johnson meets James Brown. At the time it sounded very far removed from peers like Gang Of Four, The Raincoats and A Certain Ratio. I think this record has aged really well and could fit in nicely with bands like The Go Team! a funky Elastica and in parts a little Hot Chip. Key track would be 'Shadow' on Side A.
Practically shelved and forgotton about this is the band's first and only debut. Well worth an investment to place next to your post-punk Northern industrial oddities.
CONDITION
Sleeve - VG - a little beat up with a pulled sticker mark on front of sleeve.
LP - VG+ - very clean.

POSTAGE
Please choose additional postage fee:
Royal Mail First Class: £4.00
Royal Mail Second Class: £3.00
OR
Local collection via my house or my record stall (when available) - FREE
I package each record using the 'cardboard and bubble wrap sandwich method.' Sleeve and LP are kept separate within the postage sleeve. It will arrive to your house looking very tasty but please don't attempt to eat it for your dinner. I only recommend popping it on your record player.
INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE
I have offered European and international postage to people on other records which I sell. However one particular continental customer has sent through some horrible feedback and been rather abusive - so I'd prefer to now only ship to somewhere in the UK from here on in. Shame really that we all can't get along. But that's the modern world for you.
It doesn't mean I won't ship abroad but you'll have to send me a message so I can figure out a postage price and whether or not I'm happy to ship this, or any item out to you. Everyone deserves a second chance.
All the best.
