David Bazan

FEWER MOVING PARTS Vinyl LP Record

FOR FANS OF Pedro the Lion, Jeremy Enigk, Kevin Devine, Cursive, Owen, Damien Jurado

David Bazan has retired the band name to continue making music under his own name. "FEWER MOVING PARTS" finds Bazan going back to his creative roots by performing and recording everything himself in his home studio. But Bazan has expanded his sonic canvas. His signature songwriting, voice, and melodies are framed in layered harmonies, multi-tracked guitars, analog keyboards, and intricate production he was never able to fully realize with Pedro The Lion. The EP includes two different versions of five new Bazan songs. One version will be stripped down acoustic and another version will have full-instrumentation. Acclaimed graphic novelist, Zak Sally created new original artwork for the EP. "FEWER MOVING PARTS" is David Bazan's finest work to date.

.Packing Vinyl the Right Way....

I absolutely hate getting records shipped to me from sellers and labels that come with crushed corners or bent edges. To prevent this, I package all my orders in a fresh soft poly bag placed inside a new box mailer and wrap cardboard planks around the outside of each edge to reinforce the corners just in case the postal carrier decides to play frisbee golf with your record.

I also use cardboard flats and bubble wrap inside to protect it when you slice it open and to keep the record tight to prevent seam splits. (Another pet peeve of mine.) If you get any of that from me, tell me and I’ll get a new one out right away. Unless stated, all new records come sealed.

Upon request, I can unseal them without taking off the cellophane and ship the record outside of the jacket, although both pieces will remain intact inside the poly bag I provide.

And if the record you have purchased comes with special delicate, artistic inner sleeves, I’ll put those in the jacket and place your record(s) in a generic sleeve to prevent the nice inner sleeves from getting ripped during shipment. No charge
