This is the record of the month by vinyl me please for february of 2018. This is the first time that ayalew mesfin has had any of his music on a lp format. An ethiopian folk singer from the 1960's whom was forced to stop making music and jailed for a time when the communist regime came about. Before that time all of his music was only released on 7'' 45's in small batches. Egon of now again records is a master at finding rare african music and this is no exception.
