RCA label, 1970, West Virginia group, promo, vinyl is near Mint, looks absolutely pristine, jacket is VG -, with water damage, edge wear, and seam rips. Stamped on back, ‘not for sale, promotional use only.’ Album was recorded in 1969 and was released in 1970. Real great album! Side 1 starts with Tobacco Road...great, hard hitting version! Second song is Lucille. Cool, hard rocking version of Little Richard hit. Then Jailhouse Rock. Fast hard rocking version of Elvis hit...super hit! Then Paint It Black, a fast hard hitting version of Rolling Stones’ hit, awesome drums, fuzz, bass guitar, Jon Bonniwell style vocal...way cool! Side 2 is The Electric Liturgy. Dark, and dramatic, with rich vocal sound. Just excellent, with some harpsichord. It’s overall religious concept, with great bottom heavy sound, lots of super vocals...seriously great! A psyche/rock version of Catholic Mass!
