This is one of the newer vinyl me please releases of which they re issued this classic miles davis album. This is the tail end of his bebop era into his more free and fusion era. So this is a bit of both. I have a copy myself and has elements of both. After this album he went hard into the more free jazz style. So if you want to try fusion jazz or free jazz this is a good step and toe in the water so to speak as its not as intimidating as some fusion albums he did are. This pressing comes with a write up by the club curator tyler barstow, a 12x12 art print and obviously the record is on a 180 gram pinkish vinyl. Also is a 8 page booklet with a foreward by ben ratfliff of the new york times.
