I thought all of these were gone, but here is another!
This record was recorded by Neal at VVV Records and he and I split the pressing cost and the 500 copies we had pressed at A&R Records in Dallas. We each had to sell them to make our money back. This particular copy was consigned by me to Inner Sanctum Records in Austin. They put the green $2.49 price tag on it. Inner Sanctum changed ownership and the new owners refused to pay me for anything that had sold, but gave me 5 or so copies that were left from the 10 or so I had consigned to them, and this is one of them. I brought it back to Dallas and it has been sitting in a Peaches crate ever since. I was going through a bunch of mostly trash 45's in there today and this was in the box. For whatever reason it was separated from the others. The inner paper is not mint, it has some small creases and such, but it's unhandled and clean. The record inside has never been played and may not have ever removed from the sleeve before the pictures were taken.
So here it is, the last one I have that's unplayed, aside from the one I have that is sealed in a postmarked envelope and is my personal file copy (and is not for sale, don't ask!)
After we did this, I played with Bobby in The Enemy and Stick Men With Ray Guns until 1988 when I moved to Seattle, our drummer Scott Elam moved to New York, our guitarist Clarke Blacker moved to Florida, and Bobby Soxx went to prison (for attempted murder).
No reserve, bid to win! Yeah it has a high starting price, which is done so it won't languish with reissues. It should bring plenty more than that.
This is a relist. The auction that just ended was won by a zero feedback buyer named after a Jack Kerouac character with no phone number and a fake address. Please people, this is NOT a game!
