The Beatles Rubber soul vinyl LP First pressing from 1965 with yellow/black Parlophone labels and 'sold in UK.....' text This is the loud cut pressing with matrix 'XEX 579-1' on side 1 and 'XEX 580-1' on side 2 Mono PMC 1267 KT tax code on side 2
Vinyl is still clean and bright but has a few surface marks and scuffs and a few light hairlines. Side 1 also has four long scratches that are visible in photo five. Side 1 - Good, Side 2 - Very good Audio is very nice. Plays through with no jumps, sticks or loud pops. The four scratches on side 1 cause very light clicking which is only really audible between tracks but isn't really noticeable when the music is playing. Sounds much better that it looks. Very good+ Labels have moderate spindle wear but are clean and tidy with no unwanted writing or stickers. VG Sleeve is in solid condition. No tears, or splits with light signs of use. Rear is still white but with a few small pen marks. Spine solid and readable. VG+ Original 'use emitex' inner is included which has light signs of handling. VG+
Overall a playable copy of this rare first pressing. Good/Very good+

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
