Led Zeppelin - S/T - USA 1968 WHITE LABEL PROMO "For Record Depatment In Store Play" LP - with Press Kit
Nine photos! Check em' all out!
Here we have one of the very first Led Zeppelin pressings on U.S. vinyl, likely pressed the same time as the standard radio station promos for the first album. (see photos)
Vinyl is a solid VG with some paper scuffing and a few unfeelable hairline marks. Plays VG with light surface noise, but no skips or repeaters.
Labels are VG+ with a couple of spindle marks on each label.
Cover is VG+ with light edge and corner wear, and a 1.5 inch split bottom right corner. Cover surface looks great with minimal wear. This is one of the nicer covers of this record that I've seen.
Included with this LP is an exact reproduction of the 1969 press kit for the first album. It was taken from the Super Deluxe Box Set released in 2013. Great cover with a classic band portrait on the front and a trippy band portrait on the back. The cover contains the two glossy photos of the band, the 2 page Atlantic Records introduction of the band, as well as a 3 page band bio, and a four page bio of the individual band members.
The entire press kit is in beautiful NM condition.
Did I mention that Dusty Springfield gets side one of this record? She's great too!
