Up for auction is a mint copy of DJ Shadows Diminishing Returns LP
In mint condition, still sealed
Back in 2002, Shadow was asked by the BBC to record a contribution to their famous "Essential Mix" series, to be broadcast on Radio 1. The gauntlet was thrown, and Shadow was determined to showcase all of the music around him at the moment; contemporary southern rap, garage rock 45s (continuing a thread first started by the Product Placement mix,) and a generous helping of old school hip-hop obscurities. When the two-hour mix was aired, Shadow knew it was bound to be bootlegged, so he pressed up 1000 copies of the instantly collectible "Diminishing Returns Party Pak,"
