Spanning his musical works between 1966-1990, Memoire Magnetique Vol.1 is a collection of unreleased works by electronic/acousmatic music pioneer Bernard Parmegiani. Since the late '50s, Parmegiani was a major figure of electroacoustic music and a founding member of acousmonium broadcasting system Groupe de Recherches Musicales (GRM). His work was closely linked to the screen, but also made pieces for dance, stage or TV. The first volume of this compilation allows you to discover some of those lost tapes and unpublished recordings which were composed for the screen or the performing arts.
