In recent times, demand has soared for second-hand copies of Stefan Bodzin and Marc Romboy's 2014 cut "Kerberos". Wisely, Systematic has decided to reissue it, backing the original version - a quietly positive chunk of melodious tech-house bristling with memorable, rising and falling electronic motifs - with a trio of fresh reworks. The first of these comes from Solomun and Johannes Brecht, whose interpretation tends towards the grandiose, elevating the original to a higher level via bolder electronics and stronger Berlinian beats. In contrast, Andre Hommen harnesses the track's innate positivity, inserting a blissful, saucer-eyed breakdown that should get the hairs on the back of your neck standing to attention. Finally, Matador delivers a smooth, shuffling and bass-heavy revision that's closest in tone to Bodzin and Romboy's original.
