MINT. (M)   

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks…         

The sleeve/ inners /poster etc are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT. (EX) 

The record shows only a few minimal signs of having been played, with little 

or no lessening in sound quality.   

The sleeve will have only very slight wear and /or minor creasing.                                  

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) 

The record shows signs that it has been played with some light surface 

markings. (Most will only be visible under strong light). 

There will be no major deterioration in sound quality.

The sleeve may have some edge/corner wear and/or minor creasing.

       

VERY GOOD.(VG)  

The record shows signs of play, with light, but more obvious surface markings.  (Nothing deep or major)

Surface noise may be evident in some intro/quieter passages, but there will be no major deterioration of sound quality…

The sleeve will have no major defects, but more obvious edge/corner wear, possible creasing/ringwear.

GOOD PLUS (G+)

The record will have more noticeable groove wear, scuffs and mild scratches. 

The record will play through without skips, but will have more noticeable surface noise.

The sleeve may suffer from pronounced wear to the edges /creasing/ discolouration / possible spine splits. 

GOOD (G) / FAIR (F) / POOR (P)
