Another from my personal collection of over 50,000 albums that I have collected over a period of more than 45 years!
1st UK pressing of Testament "The New Order" released in 1988 on Megaforce Records labels. WOW! I Love it. I havn't played this album for over 30 years and I forgot how enjoyable this is! I played this so loud it nearly shook the house down! A very hard original 1st issue album to find in this condition. Most copies seen are reissues, this is the original!  (The only way to hear this album in my personal opinion).  Exceptionally rare and scarce to find in this top condition. It has always been stored in a case with the vinyl removed from the cover and sleeve for protection. This is how I have always stored my records. Visually the vinyl looks barely ever played in my opinion. I can barely see any spider traces  around the spindle hole. No needle scratches or marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops just beautiful sound quality and fantastic bassey feel and separation only heard like this on the earliest pressings. This is complete with the 1st German issued un-laminated cover. This is complete with the original picture lyric insert record sleeve no splits or tears just very feint foxing noted but not seen unless looked for in my opinion. This is in absolutely stunning condition NEAR MINT being kept in a poly sleeve in a box for over 30 years. Please listen to the full recording in the player below. I would grade the audio at least excellent plus to near as mint throughout in my opinion.
I dought that you could find a better 1st  issue copy of this album in my opinion!
For me the audio quality has always been my prime interest with vinyl.
Audio graded at least excellent plus to Near As Mint  in my opinion!

The New Order is the second studio album by American thrash metal band Testament, released on May 5, 1988.

The New Order was the album that broke Testament into the thrash metal mainstream, with singles "Trial by Fire" (which featured a music video, as did the cover of Aerosmith's "Nobody's Fault") and "The Preacher".

This success would only grow with their next album Practice What You Preach.

The New Order was also the first Testament album to enter the Billboard 200, reaching number 136 on that chart.

It was also the band's first album to include an instrumental track. The album contains many songs that the band still plays live to this day including "Into the Pit", "The Preacher", "The New Order", "Disciples of the Watch", and "Trial by Fire". "Into the Pit", "The New Order", and "Disciples of the Watch" are among Testament's most frequently performed songs;

all three of which have been played live over 600 times with the former of the three being their most played song live.

Testament toured for three months to promote The New Order. They toured Europe shortly after its release alongside thrash acts Megadeth, Sanctuary, Flotsam and Jetsam and Nuclear Assault. This was followed by a summer U.S. tour, which featured support from Vio-Lence, Forbidden, Voivod, Sanctuary, Destruction, Overkill, Nuclear Assault, Carnivore, Death Angel, Atheist and Potential Threat.[9] They toured Europe again in August, replacing Megadeth on the Monsters of Rock tour.

After playing two shows in San Francisco in December 1988, and one show with Heathen at the Country Club in Reseda in January 1989, Testament began work on their third studio album Practice What You Preach.

The Vinyl
On visual inspection this looks almost as new in my opinion. I find it hard to even see a blemish on the playing surface, any that could possibly be seen angled to the light would be sleeve removal scuffs only. The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable and is free of any warping. Importantly, there are no visual marks that would cause any loud constant clicks or pops during the play of this vinyl. Note This is the thicker and heavier type of vinyl only found like this on the earliest 1st UKpressings.

The Audio Quality
I have play tested the vinyl two times on two different turntables/systems at very loud volume prior to this listing. Once for you to hear the complete album. (Can be heard in the player above)
The moment that the needle hits the playing surface it is obvious to me that this has barely ever been played at all. Crystal clear and vibrant stunning top audio throughout the play of this vinyl.  I would grade the audio at least excellent excellent plus to Near as Mint through out!

Please note! Allowances must be made for these pressings.  I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for very light isolated static type ticks that might be noticed in quieter places, but not consistent through out the audio. Debrit was noted on the playing surface after play. A constant clean before each play is recommended because this vinyl has been stored in a case laying dormant for over 30 years. A build up of dirt and dust in the grooves causes static ticks/ crackle. constant cleaning before each play will reduce this and enhance the audio quality.

The Labels
These are the original 1st issue Mega Force Records labels  (Only 1st German press) Barely a handful of spider marks can be seen angled to the light on one side, barely seen at all!  This has barely ever been played in my personal opinion!. There is little if no spindle wear the hole is perfectly round. Very rare like this!

The Record Sleeve
This is the original 1st issue paper picture/lyric record sleeve.  This is straight and very clean with some very, very slight foxing noted worth to mention only. There are no edge splits or tears. The vinyl is always stored separately from the vinyl. This is how I have always stored my records.

The Cover
This is the original German 1st issue Un laminated cover. Super clean and straight. No nasty creases to report and any storage wear is only really noticed if looked for in my opinion. No edge rubbing The spine has absolutely no rubbing all text is readable.  Rich and very vibrant colours. I would grade this cover at excellent plus to near mint in my opinion.
