This is the Beatles Box set (16 LPs at 180-grams) released circa 2012.  This re-issue is unique:  16-disc stereo vinyl box set pressed on 180-gram vinyl; a meticulous transfer of the original analog tapes to 24-bit/192 kHz digital remaster.  Those remasters were used to create lacquer masters cut using the 16-bit/44.1 kHz downconversions of the 192 kHz/24-bit masters.  What you get is: 12 British titles, plus the U.S. version of "Magical Mystery Tour" and a two-LP "Past Masters" set of singles and non-LP tracks, copies of the Sgt. Pepper's inserts, Magical Mystery Tour's 24-page booklet and the "White Album's" poster and iconic band photos, AND the lavish 252-page hardbound book with essays and rare photos. I purchased this set new and immediately professionally cleaned all LP sides using a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine, dedicated vinyl wash fluid, vacuumed dry and de-static'd.  I have listened through the entirety of the 32 LP sides (once only using a Clearaudio Concerto Moving-Coil cartridge and Graham 2.2 tonearm combination) and certify that the LPs play as perfectly as LPs are capable of.  No glitches, no stories.  None of these 16 LPs suffer from pressing defects.  From my private library.  Also included is a music review written by Greg Cahill of the Absolute Sound which I have liberally quoted from.
