This is a beautiful copy of the Eddie Cochran LP titled “Portrait of a Legend” an import from the UK on Rockstar Records, licensed from Liberty Records, catalog number RSR LP1008, released in 1984.

Rockstar Records researched and discovered stereo masters of some of the songs on this LP at Liberty Records, which had never been released in stereo, and remastered them for this release. Some of the stereo tracks are alternate versions of the original releases and the LP also includes mono versions of the Cochran classics “Nervous Breakdown”, “My Way”, “Summertime Blues”, “Teenage Heaven”, “C’mon Everybody” and “Blue Suede Shoes” which were not recorded in stereo.

This record is from my own personal collection, was purchased new and played only a few times on a high end turntable. It was play tested for this listing to guarantee an accurate description.

The record looks and plays like a brand new record. The labels are in perfect condition.

The outer jacket has a beautiful textured surface on both sides and is in like new condition.

I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.
