GORGEOUS COPY - AMAZING AUDIO!
Here's a lovely UK copy of Love Me Do/PS: I Love You, the rare debut single from the best band of all time, dating back to 1962. This is where it all started - a fab piece of Beatles' history.
Barely played and in treasured keeper condition, this is a rare gem for the discerning Beatles' collector, featuring near perfect play.
Very rarely does such a well preserved copy turn up these days. Most Beatles' records have understandably been well played, sometimes carelessly handled, taken to parties, and generally turn up damaged in some way, with the labels suffering from sticker tears or various ownership claims. But this copy is a clean delight. It lies perfectly flat on the turntable, with no warping whatsoever, and plays perfectly, both sides, with incredibly NO background noise, no distortion, no clicks or pops, no jumps and near silent run-in. It also looks lovely to the naked eye - just light marks are discernible on the vinyl when viewed under harsh halogen lighting, and absolutely no feelable scratches - a comfortable Ex-.
Totally original, this is the real thing with embossed M T tax code on the 'B'-side and 1/1 mother stampers denoting an extremely early copy.
Matrices read:
Side 1: (9-0-clock) - M above P above ZT above 1; (3-0-clock) - G O (A and D crossed out)
Side 2: (9-0-clock) - M above P above ZT above 1; (3-0-clock) - G O
This fine copy is housed in its original (not reproduction) Parlophone company sleeve which remains unsplit.
This item comes from a well cared for one-owner-from-new collection (please check out my other items).
Good luck if you are bidding - I carefully pack vinyl using professional packaging and post with the disc removed from the sleeve to prevent knifing during transit.
