Red Hot Chilli Peppers: Californication (2012 double LP, US Limited edition Reissue)

This is the much sought after 2012 Limited Edition pressing remastered by Chris Bellman. Currently unavailable in the UK unless imported directly from the USA which makes it expensive with the delivery charge and import fees. If your looking at this you probably know that it’s widely acknowledged to be hands down the best sounding version of this classic album. Its generally regarded to sound pretty awful on both the original vinyl pressing and the CD due to the loudness wars, compression and clipping. Chris Bellman did a fantastic job with this one and drastically improved the sound and has done an awesome remaster from the original source material. It also uses a slightly different alternate mix, although if you don’t know the album very well you probably won’t even notice the subtle differences, I didn’t and I’ve had the original CD since release in 1999.

Things to note.... please read carefully:

This is brand new and Unplayed. I ordered it from the US which cost nearly £40 (£38.93) with delivery fees and duties, but when I received it I noticed that it had a very slight seam split on the top of the sleeve so I emailed them and they sent me a replacement free of charge. (For 40 quid I wanted a perfect one!) Please see the 2 photos so you know what your getting.. it’s actually very minor damage and the split doesn’t actually go all the way through either, but there is a 2” mark on the sleeve where the records have moved around in transit. Please also note that I have opened the Plastic seal to double check the all important CB (Chris Bellman) initials are etched into the deadwax which rest assured they are. The other big risk with ordering this from abroad is that unless your seller knows exactly what they’re talking about it’s very easy to end up receiving the wrong one... reading online many people have ended up with the crappy sounding standard version or the single LP Reissue.

I will also post this with both records outside the sleeve so there is no risk of further damage. Free postage within the U.K. by tracked service. Any questions please ask.
