Rapping brothers and beat-makers PNL are arguably one of the most interesting and impressive hip-hop artists to come out of France in recent years. Their first three albums - released within an 18-month period around 2015 and 2016 - were superb, and this belated fourth full-length is every bit as good. It's slick, quietly soulful and occasionally sumptuous, with the siblings rapping and singing (often with the aid of auto-tune) over backing tracks that are arguably closer to dream-pop and R&B than traditional hip-hop. It makes for hugely heart-warming and life-affirming listening, even if French isn't your first language.
