Lots of gospel blues and gospel soul beauties this week, along with runs of the Blue Note and Band Box labels. And, as always, tons of great 45s from greater Texas and Louisiana.

Amazing late '50s Hollywood exoticism with generous echo and a musical saw's theremin-like tones. Reminds me of the Three Suns at their space-age Fever & Smoke peak. Obscure, incredible, quite rare.

GRADING: NM-/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G/F. I basically never grade anything NM-.
