While they may not be anywhere near as prolific as they once were, veteran German duo Hardfloor is still capable of delivering the goods. "Little Blue Corvette", their first single for two years, is strong, with the long-serving TB-303 abusers offering up two tried-and-tested peak-time cuts. The A-side is perhaps a little less wild than their classic 1990s work, but thanks to its attractive blend of looped synth stabs, rolling drums, funky electronic motifs, glassy-eyed bleeps and undulating acid lines it still hits home hard. Those looking for some wilder acid thrills in the vein of their timeless gem "Acperience" should head for B-side "Habba Habba Sutt Sutt", where thrillingly twisted, trance-inducing TB-303 motifs ride a suitably bustling beat.
