Please note: Please be aware that these records are old and have been stored in a case for many years. They come from a smokers environment and may smell musty or of nicotine. 

Another from my personal collection, purchased from new in 1973 original only played a few times and then to record to tape and then stored in a case with the vinyl seperated from the sleeve and cover for protection. This is how I have always stored my records! This mega early original 1st UK pressing boasts of being in stunning top condition throughout! A true archive copy! Also the most important thing is the audio will blow you away absolutely stunning seperation throughout and a true bassey feel only found like this on the earliest pressings , cristal clear and very vibrant plays as new without any loud constant clicks,pops,ticks or crackle. (Any interference noted is very isolated only perhapes at intros or in between tracks only). pressed from the earliest master A-1 B-1 matrix endings and extreemely early mother stampers '2' ''??'' and ''2'' ??''

Stranded is the third album by art rock band Roxy Music, and was released late 1973, reaching number one on the UK album charts. The cover features Ferry's girlfriend and 1973's Playmate of the Year, Marilyn Cole.

 It was the first Roxy Music album on which Bryan Ferry was not the sole songwriter, because Andy Mackay and guitarist Phil Manzanera also contributed to the album. It was also the first without Brian Eno, who had left the group! 

 Very 1st UK pressing rarely seen in this beautiful condition A-1 B-1 MATRIX!

The vinyl

The 1st thing to note! is that this is a mega thick and heavy original type of vinyl! Later press are much mor flimsier and less robust! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! and looks absolutely stunning!!

This looks near stunning! I can't see any marks that would cause any loud or constant clicks or pops! In fact this has hardly ever been played at all! Perhapes a handfull of times by me personaly only! This has been stored in a case for the best part of 25 years! Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong light would be sleeve removal/scuff  marks only!! THE AUDIO IS TRULLY AWESOME YOU WILL FIND IT HARD TO FIND A BETTER 1ST PRESS SOUNDING COPY! TOP! TOP! AUDIO ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!!! (no) loud constant clicks pops or any grooveware what so ever! (Ant interference noted wouls be at the intros or in between tracks only) NEVER NEED TO UPGRADE FROM THIS VINYL! 47 years old!

please note! I always add this disclaimer! Please allow for the light static crackle here and there (not) consistant throughout the audio! This is a genuine 47 year old vinyl that would have originally been played on a 47 year old system!!

This vinyl has been stored in a case for the best part of 45 years and could benefit from a constant clean before each play! This would greatly reduce any static crackle and greatly enhance the audio quality!

The Labels

These are the 1st UK issued Island pink rim labels. Any spidering noted seen when angled to the light is minimal only. This has had only minimal play by me only. Any foxing noted is again minimal and not really noticed unless looked for in my opinion.

The record Sleeve

This is the original 1st UK issued blue island paper record sleeve with  patent no. and 'Made in England'

The Cover

This is the original and more desirable FULLY LAMINATED  In exceptional  VERY NEAR PRISTINE condition for a 1st press super glossy (minor) storageware to mention! Any slight signs of ringware at the rear only in the laminate can only be seen angled in the light (Note there is a couple of very light creases to mention only one front top right hand corner and one at the bootom at the rear of the cover.) Nothing really noticable unless looked for in my opinion. SUPERBE 1ST PRESS COVER!! EXCELLENT PLUS to VERY NEAR MINT!! BEST THAT YOU WILL FIND AFTER 35 YEARS
