Please Check our other auctions: We are regularly taking deliveries of record collections so please check our other items for classic 60s, 70’s and 80’s reggae, 90’s rap, punk, classic rock, heavy metal and everything in between.
Shipping: Unless specified, we use 2nd class Royal Mail and pack records in a professional cardboard mailer. On more expensive records we may increase this to first class/signed for.
Combining Postage: We will always combine postage if asked. We can generally get 6 records without any issues and are happy to send as many as possible up to 2KG. Over this we will charge £6.95 and ship through a courier.
International Shipping: International shipping is out of our control and the price is set by eBay. If you are bidding for multiple items from overseas, please note that I can not combine postage in the usual way. It may be much cheaper for me to relist everything you want in one auction so you only pay once. Please email me to check if this is possible.
Offers: Please understand that we know what these records are worth and we generally price them to give you a bargain. Offers of slightly above the asking price are generally enough to get us to accept and close the auction immediately.
Please see our grading below so you understand the condition of the record you will be ordering:
Near Mint: Nearly perfect. No visible signs of wear or warping, no visible spindle wear. Buyers can expect outstanding record sound. Cover will be in outstanding condition with no obvious faults such as import clipping, ring wear or sticker damage.
Very Good+: Signs of wear such as very slight warping and light scratches, but these will not affect the overall sound quality. There may be light spindle wear and the sleeve may have slight blemishes such as light ring wear. (Particularly on albums with a predominately black background.) If an album has import clipping at this grade I will specifically mention it.
Very Good: Slightly heavier scratches than VG+ which may be noticeable during quieter tracks, intros and fade ins. Please note, I differ from many collectors in that if there is any sign of groove wear I will not class it as VG+. You may hear pops in a few places, but the record should not jump or stutter. Labels may have sticker damage, writing, knocked edges, ring wear, spindle wear or import clipping.
Good: This is good enough to play, but you are not buying an expensive copy. Expect pops, click and there will be visible scratches, feelable scratches and groove wear. Sleeves can have small tears, spine holes, sticker damage etc.
Poor/Fair: I don’t sell at this level unless it’s in bulk… I might put 10 classics on for a low starting price and these can be used for crafts/projects or fillers, but I wouldn’t put a good needle on these.
All listings should have good quality photographs of the front and back sleeve, one full side of the record and a close up of the sticker. If there’s an insert I’ll include a photograph of that too.
Returns: Please note that I have never had a single record returned on eBay for grading it badly, but should you feel you haven’t received a record as described, please get in touch with me and we’ll arrange a return. My returns policy does not apply to Vinyl as you need to have confidence you’re getting what you paid for.
