You are looking at an original 1979 German first pressing of Tom Petty and The Heartbreaker's "Damn the Torpedoes." This is not only the first German pressing but a very early pressed vinyl in the first batch as the matrix reads 1a/1b. Includes very clean original lyric / image insert. This lp was cleaned with a Spin-Clean Record Washer system and then placed in a clear poly protective inner sleeve before listing. Vinyl and outer sleeve are placed separately in a clear protective poly sleeve for added protection, as well. Will ship in a sturdy recorder mailer with cardboard pads.  Ships for free in the U.S. with USPS Media Mail. 

Vinyl condition: EX /Excellent. Visually graded. Very glossy and looks like it wasn't played many times. Light sleeve scuffing and light marks seen under a bright light. The labels are crisp, clean and have nice colors. Always kept in its original inner sleeve. 

Outer Sleeve Condition: Outer sleeve is VG/ a strong very good and inner picture sleeve is EX / Excellent. Outer sleeve is glossy and shows some lighter / faint / non-deep creases near the edges of the cover (you can see this in the first image), a small tear on front cover next to Petty's left arm and average shelf wear along edges and at corners. Original record store price sticker on front. Back cover of outer sleeve looks cleaner and is glossier. No split seams, no water damage on either cover, no stubbed corners, no dirt / soiling on either cover, no writing on either cover, no ugly / major signs of use in general. The inner sleeve is glossy, clean and looks great on both sides. Its a picture sleeve and the pics on both sides are glossy and clean and it only shows very light shelf wear along edges. I would grade the inner sleeve excellent or better.
