This soundtrack to the 1993 cult film True Romance. With an all star cast including Christian Slater, Patrica Arquette, Dennis Hopper and Gary Oldman, it was directed by the late Tony Scott and written by the inimitable Quentin Tarantino: and is no doubt etched into the memory of any real Gen X'er! The film's theme song features a super cute kalimba melody and was one of a dozen short compositions produced here by German composer Hans Zimmer, alongside rock music (not featured) from the '50s through to the '90s. Grunge rock gods of the time Soundgarden appeared, for instance, alongside the late great Robert Palmer. It gets a deluxe vinyl box set release courest of Enjoy The Ride, coming to vinyl for the very first time for the film's 25th anniversary.
