Top Ranking Sound is stepping up with a repress of a tune that gets lots of people talking online. How old really is it, is it really worth more than the L1000 people ask for it? You can decide for yourself now - it sure does have a slightly early 80s production style, with the clavichord, keyboard and timbale all hinting at that. It's fresh and crisp, with a natty riddim and some heartfelt vocals up top carrying it away on a breeze. The version is gold, too, with the stuttering kicks and meandering leads all sounding perfectly escapist.
