Sugar: Copper Blue LP (1992 1st Pressing)
I bought this from my local indie record shop when it was originally released back in 1992 and it has been well looked after as part of my personal record collection ever since. It's the original Creation Records pressing with 'Porky Prime Cut' etched into the dead wax, indicating it was cut by the legendary George Peckham - one of the best in the business!
The sleeve is in excellent condition with no sticker damage and a sharp, fully readable spine. Please take a minute to scroll through all the photos to see the fantastic condition for a record almost 30 years old. The original printed inner sleeve is present and also excellent with no seam splits. There is some age related 'foxing' staining on the non printed cardboard inside of the outer sleeve, but this is not noticeable unless you actually look inside it, but I thought i'd point it out and I have taken a photo as well.
The vinyl shows signs of being played with a few non feelable marks as you'd expect from a record of this age, but nothing affecting play and its in nice condition. I have just cleaned it in my professional record cleaning machine with the award winning L'Art Du Son fluid so it is now free from dust and static and in the best possible condition ready for the new owner to enjoy. I also just test played it all the way through on both sides on my Project Debut Carbon turntable fitted with Ortefon 2M Blue stylus. It sits perfectly flat on the deck and plays through beautifully with barely a hint of surface noise on the run ins and absolutely no skipping, sticking or jumping. Sounds awesome still and is in great condition for a 28 year old record.
I'm also selling original records by Carter USM and the Wonder Stuff so why not take a look?
Free postage to the UK and it will be shipped in a proper record mailer with stiffeners so no damage comes to it in transit.
