It's the album Touche Amore frontman Jeremy Bolm was born to make. And you could argue had it not been for the preceding LPs, Lament would never have happened. Thematically at least, it's a direct response. A hardcore album written by a guy who shot to notoriety with debutant effort And Now It's Happening In Mine, a record about the inability to grieve, and has since had the weight of expectation placed on him by fans who found healing and understanding in that release.

Here the riffs and drums still tear and stomp their way through your body, but the overall message is clear. One thing cannot save many from themselves. Our approach to pain and life itself must be based on our own strengths. Hence the rousing nature of 'Feign', and the super-emo discordant harmonies of 'Limelight - Manchester Orchestra', among others.
