Original 1970 copy of George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" triple LP on Apple Records. Spizer version APP 1639.SR1. The original hinged box is included and still together in 1 piece. The front and rear halves of this box are almost always separated by this point. The box is version 2 (APP 639.B(i)). This is a Scranton, PA pressing.. Capitol's Scranton, PA plant was being phased out around this time so Scranton pressings in 1970 and later are pretty rare. The original "dark shadowy" George Harrison full size poster is also included which is very rare!
I use the visual grading standards of the Cox/Daniels "Price Guide For The Beatles American Records" (6th edition). These grading standards tend to be more stringent (and, due to this, are graded slightly lower) than Goldmine. See my various photos of the cover and records.  I grade conservatively using a bright light so the buyer knows exactly what they are bidding on.

Records - VG++/VG+/NM-

Since there are 3 LPs, I graded each individually.  You don't see this album in this condition very often.

Record 1 (sides 1/2): a very faint paper scuff on side 2. Side 1 has no visible defects. The labels look perfect with no wear. I grade VG++.

Record 2 (sides 3/4): a faint scratch exists on side 4..not deep and only noticeable if you get daylight hitting the vinyl at the right angle. No visible defects on side 3. The labels look perfect with no wear. I grade VG+.
Record 3 (sides 5/6): an extremely small shallow scratch on side 5 (grasping at straws since most people wouldn't even notice it). Side 6 has no visible defects. The labels look perfect with no wear. I grade NM-.
The records are not soiled, but could use a cleaning if you have a quality record cleaner. It looks like a prior owner may have tried cleaning them. Using Goldmine Standards, the above records would likely be graded slightly higher than the grading standards that I use (Cox/Daniels).
All 3 original inner sleeves with the lyrics printed on them are also included. One sleeve has a small (approx. 1") tear along the center of one of its side edges. For being almost 50 years old, these paper sleeves are in amazing condition. Nearly impossible to find these with no tears.
Cover - VG+ The cover is in very nice shape as both the front/rear halves are still fully connected. Minor wear to the box. The front slick has some light water staining marks. Part of the front slick has some wear along the lower half of the left edge (near the box's spine) but is not peeling off. I graded it VG+ due to the minor wear.
Apple Records' NYC address is printed on the inside of the boxes' top.
Special BONUS: I am also including the original full size George Harrison poster that came with this LP. A small amount of mold staining on part of the poster's rear which, again, could likely be removed if cleaned properly. This poster is almost never found with original copies of this LP as they were either lost or just hung up on the original purchaser's wall.
