By American singer Madonna from her 3rd album True Blue ('86), it has since appeared on the compilation albums, The Immaculate Collection ('90) & Celebration (2009). Originally a rock & roll song titled "Follow Your Heart" written for singer Cyndi Lauper, Madonna accepted it instead. She & Patrick Leonard transformed it into a dance-pop song & renamed it. It is an innuendo-laden love song, where she expresses her sexual desire. It was positively received by critics & a commercial success, reaching the top-10 of the charts in Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, the UK & the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA, making it her 5th #1 single.
