Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

This is an Elektra Records Promotional Copy of the First Pressing of the original 1988 release. "Cocktail" was one of Tom Cruise's early big hit movies. This copy has never been played. The gold foil Promo stamp is at the top of the back cover. There is also a promotional saw cut on the top front spine. The single piece board cover has tight seams and shows no wear. The original Elektra logo inner sleeve has two splits. This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Elektra Records in 1988. It has been in storage for 33 years. Tracklist
