This item is an album released on Deity Records in 1969 by The Masked Marauders entitled 'The Masked Marauders'. Record label and number is Deity Records 6378. This spoof album was original reviewed in Rolling Stone Magazine before the album was released. The review tells of a recording session in a small town near the site of the original Hudson Bay Colony in Canada. The review lists the musicians on this album being John Lennon, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Bob Dylan and an unnamed drummer. Studio sound alike musicians were assembled after the albums review in Rolling Stone and was released a short time later in 1969. Record itself is in excellent condition and looks as if it might have been played once or twice. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos). Record cover is in very good condition with flaws being some light ringwear, wear on the spine, wear at the bottom left corner, some slight discoloring on the back of the cover and a name written on the back of the cover at the top right corner (see photos). Original two sided Rolling Stone review insert is included. See photos for song listings. This album is worth it just for the sound alike Mick Jagger singing 'I Can't Get No Nookie' that was actually released as a single from the album! Also the Bob Dylan sound alike singing 'Duke Of Earl' is also pretty great! A very funny listen and a nice copy of this great spoof album! Money back if not satisfied.
