You are bidding on the first ever vinyl pressing of The Mars Volta's debut classic, "De-Loused at the Comatorium" (2-LP). This is an extremely rare pressing and an instant collector's item which will surely only gain in value as the band's legend grows.
This set contains the original ALL SILVER discs, which is a sight to behold. The vinyl itself is in excellent shape, in large part because I never really played the record... 2 to 3 times, at most, like all my collectible vinyl, and not even the full album, at that.
You can see from the images that this is a well taken care of vinyl set. Cover looks and feels great. There is slight warping on both discs, but it DOES NOT affect play whatsoever. The warp is actually inherent to the LP pressing itself, meaning: they’re all like this. (I’ve had at least 4 over the years) It’s something to do with the solid silver coating of the discs. No worries, though, it all plays beautifully and you won't find a better copy not sealed. The analog sound quality is first rate and serves TMV’s dense, explorative music perfectly!
This item is from a smoke-free, pet-free home. All of my records are meticulously cared for, stored and handled perfectly. Good luck, everyone!
