Here we have a very nice copy of The Grateful Dead's Historic Dead album from 1971. This album contained some of the band's earlier recordings at the Avalon Ballroom in 1966. This album is pretty much the only way to listen to these early concerts, as it was never issued on CD. This is the 1st issue of this album pressed on the yellow Sunflower labels. The record is close to a VG++ grading with some light surface scratches and some light scuffs. The vinyl is very glossy and plays excellent. The cover is in VG+ condition with some ring wear and some edge wear. Please see all the pictures to determine condition. Overall, this album would make a great addition to your collection.
