I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool soul, popcorn, Latin, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, blues, funk, psychedelic, sunshine pop, mod, lounge, exotica, heavy rock, gospel, swamp pop, Tejano, townie rock, song poem, punk, and oddball instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. In addition to a small batch of Greek 45s, I've also listed some really fantastic and scarce garage band 45s from Texas this week.
ARTIST: Bob Baker
TITLE: Turned On the Ice / Late Last Night
LABEL: Veeda
CONDITION: G (Decent player, nice gloss with lotsa typical scratches and light scuffs. Tight radial hairline crack that sounds lightly a few times at start. Initials on labels as shown.)
Careening '60 rockabilly from this gone Amarillo singer. Manic energy levels and murky fidelities going every which way at once. More charming primitivism on the barely-less-controlled flipside "Late Last Night." Essential West Texas weirdo rock 'n' roll.
