Heavier Than A Death In The Family by legendary Japanese rock and psychedelic outfit Les Rallizes Denudes is a record that often gets bootlegged. Its is a dance, scuzzy wall of sound from the nose band that now gets a proper reissue treatment on limited edition 180 gram, red vinyl. It is a blistering collection of sounds, angular riffs, sleazy grooves and beautifully dark post-rock that are all taken from live recordings made originally in 1977. Tracks like 'Ice Fire' make it sound like the lead singer is drowning in feedback, while 'Night Of The Assassins' is as catchy as the band get.
