They say a picture is worth one thousand words...but some pictures don't tell the whole story, so please read my item description & condition below as well as my terms of sale.
ITEM DESCRIPTION & CONDITION: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the eighth (8th) studio album released, 26 May 1967, by the English  band . It spent spent 27 weeks at number one on the Record Retailer chart in the United Kingdom and 15 weeks at number one on the Billboard Top LPs chart in the United States. This copy is an early U.S. release from the Scranton pressing plant. I will describe many key components of the item so that you, the buyer, can determine its age, condition and value for yourself. The item condition and the identifiable characteristics are as follows:
1) The vinyl disc itself, SMAS-2653, shows signs of frequent play, having scuff marks, scratches, numerous fingerprints, as well other noticeable signs of wear. The labels show only a minimal number of spindle marks, no other visible signs of wear. I have no way of play testing this item so I cannot comment with any degree of certainty on the sound quality...see photos. Label Number Side 1 (A): SMAS-2653 (SMAS-X-1-2653) Label Number Side 2 (B): SMAS-2653 (SMAS-X-2-2653) Matrix/Runout/Dead Wax (etching/stamping: Side 1 (A)): SMA S · 1-2653-A1 #3 [IAM] (SMA stamped, IAM logo stamped in triangle) Matrix/Runout/Dead Wax (etching/stamping: Side 2 (B)): SMA S - 2-2653-B2 [IAM] (IAM logo stamped in triangle) Black rainbow label without "subsidiary" rim text. Includes the paper doll cut-out insert and psychedelic pink sleeve. Any/all other identifiable label characteristics can be seen in photos. 2) The Album Cover/Jacket itself, is the original full "gatefold" cover which has had the original shrink wrap removed. Each of the corners are relatively square each having minor fuzzing or flaking. The front and rear covers, as well as the inside panels of the gatefold, show minor signs of wear and/or discoloration where the once vibrant colors appear to be slightly faded. The rear cover being the worst for wear having numerous spots where the red background color has been rubbed away. However, no tears in the spine, gatefold crease and no seam splits...see photos. 2653 on spine and inside gatefold, SMAS 2653 on upper right corner of rear cover Includes the paper doll cut-out insert Any/all other identifiable label characteristics can be seen in photos. 3) The original "psychedelic pink" inner protective sleeve, numbered BPE 12-1, is included. All seams are in tact, no splits or tears. The sleeve does however have a few wrinkles, ring wear and a few dirt smudges.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: I only ship to the continental USA, I do NOT ship International. By default, I ship all items via United States Postal Service Media Mail within 72 hours of auction end. However, since USPS Media Mail is consistently taking longer than estimated and is subject to inspection which can further delay delivery I now offer expedited shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Your shipping cost is calculated based on the item(s) weight (including package and any packing materials used) and your proximity to my location. I add $1.50 to shipping charges as a handling fee to cover the cost of a brand new and previously unused LP mailer and corrugated filler pads. Combined shipping may be available but, only if pre-approved by seller prior to auction end.
PACKAGING: 1) Opened record albums; The vinyl record disc itself is removed from the album cover/jacket to prevent damaging the cover during shipment. If the item includes a specialized or custom inner sleeve, the vinyl record disc is removed from the original inner sleeve and placed in a generic inner sleeve. The album cover, the vinyl record disc and any/all inserts will be placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment. 2) Unopened (sealed) record albums; Sealed items will remain unopened and are placed in a top-load style plastic sleeve which is placed in a pre-formed corrugated mailer along with any necessary packing material for shipment.
PAYMENT: I only accept payment through eBAY!  Any/all payments must be completed within 72 hours of auction end unless other arrangements have been agreed to by both the purchaser and the seller. Immediate payment due if and when using the Buy-It-Now option.
RETURNS: I do NOT accept returns for any reason whatsoever.  I use my best judgment when grading items and I describe items to the best of my knowledge and ability keeping in mind that I am not a professional grader or collector.  I post fully descriptive photos when listing an item and additional photos are always available upon request.
