I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

This First Pressing is an MCA Records Promotional Copy of the original 1984 release. Music by Edward Van Halen including a solo track not available on any Van Halen album. This copy has never been played. The gold foil Promo Stamp is on the top front cover. The cover has tight seams and shows no wear. Includes an insert with full credits. This is a one-owner that the seller got new from MCA Records in 1984. It has been in storage for 37 years. Tracklist
