Here we have a super rare copy of Eugene Blacknell and The New Breed's "The Trip (Part 1)"/"The Trip (Part 2)" 45 single from 1970. Not too much is known about the soul artist other than he seemed to record most of his records in the Bay Area during the 1970's. This is believed to be his first 45 that he released and is by far the rarest. This particular copy is the 1st issue pressed on the blue Boola-Boola labels. The record is in VG/VG- condition with more notable surface scratches on both sides. There are some scratches that can be felt, but I have played the record through a couple times and it doesn't skip. There are some pops and crackles here and there, but it plays rather nicely. The labels show some slight wear with a couple of very small tears on the B-side of the label. Please see all the pictures to determine condition. Overall, this record would make a killer addition to your collection. This item is being sold as is and as found. Thank you!
