John Dwyer is a busy man but is back once again with another new project. Alongside the man himself, the Bent Arcana crew made up of Ryan Sawyer, Peter Kerlin, Tom Dolas, Brad Caulkins, Kyp Malone, Marcos Rodriguez, Ben Boye, Joce Soubiran, Laena Myers-Ionita and Andres Renteria all feature on this, a second collection of recordings from an earlier session. Between them they cook up a record packed with psych-rock energy. It adds up to an experiential record that exists right on the fringes of improvised music. The seven tracks are packed with boundary-pulsing ideas and frazzled guitar hooks.
