Jake Holmes Original 1967 Tower Lp T5709 Pressing “The Above Ground Sound of Jake Holmes”. Contains “Dazed & Confused” the subject of legal proceedings against Led Zeppelin for copyright infringement. Holmes’ was given credit as “inspired by Jake Holmes” going forward after an agreement was reached.
Condition: lp shows some scratches; a couple on side one which are superficial and side two has one that runs through the last two tracks and into the dead wax. You can hear some clicks especially in parts of “Signs of Age”. Tiny white dot in groove and minor scuffing to “Dazed and Confused”. A couple clicks can be heard around 11-12 second in and some crackle between 19-23 seconds in. Overall Good+
Jacket shows some wear and bumping to corners, 3” scrape along top seam, slight ring wear (more so to back cover), area of yellowing and small ding to edges of opening. Scratch near back top left corner. Overall Good
