For Sale: The DGG 1973 Anniversary Edition box set release of the complete symphonies of Anton Dvorak conducted by Rafael Kubelik and performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra on 9 LPs. Of special note, at one time this box set evidently was formerly part of the personal record collection of Norman Pellegrini, famed program director and radio host of the WFMT classical music radio station of Chicago.
The collection includes the original copy of a commemorative catalogue of DGG classical music recordings issued with this box set on the occasion of its then 75th anniversary (1898-1973).
Condition: Overall excellent; obvious visible signs of uniform shelfwear are evident to the outer surfaces of the storage box. Otherwise, no markings, except for that of a stamp mark of ownership of Norman Pellegrini on the inside cover of the protective fold-out storage box and upon the first page of the liner notes (as pictured). The albums are German pressings and after more than 45 years they still appear as untouched and unplayed.
Shipping: This box set collection will be securely packaged for its protection and shipped using USPS Media Mail, unless specifically requested otherwise.
