James Mason had a voice like no other and the ability to project it loud and proud. Thanks to the likes of Floating Points and Red Greg his music has been brought back to the fore for a fresh generation and while his 'I Want Your Love' will always be his biggest tune, he has plenty more up his sleeve. Four of them feature on this reissued 7" by Dynamic Cuts: 'Sweet Power Your Embrace' is impassioned jazz funk with big horns and bigger vocals, 'Free' is a tight high speed funk groove and 'I've Got My Eyes On You' is more high octane jazz-funk then 'Slick City' slows it down to a more groovy, hip swinging pace.
