Freddie Mercury : The Great Pretender 7'' Picture Disc 1987

This very collectable jukebox style picture disc is in excellent condition with only a small number of faint hairlines and just one that is a little more obvious which has no affect on the audio.  The disc is still very strong and has no splits or cracks. 

Most collectors believe that picture discs should be enjoyed for their visual aesthetic quality rather than for their audio quality and it is well known that they do not play as well as standard vinyl.  However, I have played both tracks and I am pleased to say they both play extremely well.  'The Great Pretender' has no clicks or pops and only minimal light static here and there.  'Exercises In Free Love' plays extremely well for a quieter track.  The static is just a little more obvious at the start but is still not loud and then plays very clearly for the remainder with very little static.  Very impressive for a picture disc in my opinion!

The disc is contained in a generic poly-lined inner which remains in excellent condition.  This is not the original sleeve so I will find a pvc sleeve to put it in.
