Funky DEVO tech music! The song "I Desire" brought the band controversy, as the lyrics were taken directly from a poem written by John Hinckley, Jr., who had attempted to assassinate U.S. President Ronald Reagan in an effort to impress actress Jodie Foster. "Big Mess" was inspired by letters sent to a game show host by someone using the name "Cowboy Kim". - Wikipedia
I grade conservatively as I am not an expert record grader. The cover for this album is in good condition. There is a perforation on the back which can pop out to be an easel. It does not appear that the perforation has been broken, however, the easel "arm" has torn off. I do not see any ring wear on the cover. Includes the original inner sleeve which is in very good condition. Includes funny illustrations of merchandise that could be ordered such as Action Vest and Yellow Suite! I tested the album and it played well - no skips or repeats.
