Booker T & MG's seminal classic 'Green Onions' is one of the most ubiquitous funk tunes out there. It has many essential defining features and cannot fail to get you nodding. On this limited edition 7" from Floyd James & The GTs it gets an organ led instrumental flip that ups the drum funk and allows this walking chris to really shine. On the reverse is James Brown's equally crucial 'Get On The Good Foot.' This one swings a bit more, with funky guitar riffs and more subtle chords bring gar good ties while the trumpets do their thing up top.
