It's time for another bout of no-nonsense acid madness courtesy of the Acid Avengers label. This time around they're offering a split release between DynArec and Captain Mustache, and it kicks off in strident fashion as DynArec lays down a classy big room banger entitled 'Rebelmodel'. It's still shot through with the degree of weirdness you'd expect from the French electro maverick, and it sets things up nicely for the straight-up 303 tickler 'Ports Of Innocence'. 'Rave Silencieuse' finds Captain Mustache delivering a powerful, dystopian kind of machine funk driven by some frankly monstrous synth lines and a sharp line in composition which packs a cinematic, emotional punch. On 'Hang The DJ' DynArec comes back on board to back up Mustache for a limber, vocoder-embellished rave-wrecker.
